Job Description:

This project is an extension to an existing Data Warehouse. This phase will
add a reporting component for a Food and Nutrition program. Approximately 26
new reports will be delivered to the customer. The new reporting component
will include Development and Documentation of the Reporting Requirements,
Universe Development using Business Objects Design and CMS, development of
the 26 reports using Webi and Crystal Reports, Training and Training
Delivery, ETL Development and Database Management.

Position Functions or Responsibilities:



This position will be involved with documentation, design, development,
testing and implementation of Phase 1 – Food and Nutrition Services Reports
(26). Business Analysis will include the proposed physical database schema,
extract and transform specifications from the production systems providing
data to the Data Warehouse. This will generally be a mapping from the
existing data source to the data warehouse tables. Role will also train,
mentor and support users on how to use the reports and the reporting tools.
The candidate may be required to develop and conduct training sessions to
provide new clients of the Data Warehouse with the skills and knowledge they
need to use Data Warehouse system. Candidate will be required to support
the project as a technical writer and may be required to develop e-learning
materials.



Skills desired:

– 1 year experience with any or all of the following technologies (e.g.
Sybase IQ, Oracle, SAS, Business Objects XI, UNIX, MVS, TSO/ISPF, file
transfer protocols)
– Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and excellent
interviewing skills
– Strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
– Experience with Business Objects Designer and Business Objects Central
Management Server
– Experience with building reports with Business Objects WebI and/or
Crystal Reports from large data sources (20 or more data sources and greater
than 1M rows of data)
– Demonstrated technical architecture/infrastructure knowledge and
experience, including experience with multiple hardware platforms and
operating systems
– Experience with Access, Visio or ERD preparation tools
– Solid working experience with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft
Project)

Candidate is expected to work on-site in Raleigh, NC. No travelers will be
considered. Minimal relocation may be considered.
