Requirements:

* Strong knowledge of web coding languages (HTML/XML/ASP/.Net/Javascript/Java/etc.). * Strong knowledge of SQL (T-SQL, data replication, and database design principles) * Ability to ramp up quickly on any type of new technology (from hardware to software infrastructure to core Client technology). * Excellent understanding of development concepts and SDLC methodologies. * Excellent understanding of object oriented programming with strong coding and debugging abilities. * Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to prioritize and work independently as well as in a team environment.

Qualifications:

* BS or MS in Computer Science or related field only. * Minimum 5+ years of Software development experience required. * Experience working on Windows and Java platforms * Deep knowledge of Internet technologies is required

Responsibilities:

* You will work with the members of the Configuration Management team to create new points of sale for Client and ensure that configuration is maintained effectively in multiple environments. * You will work with the members of the Release Management and Operations teams to ensure new points of sale are rolled out smoothly and efficiently. * You will identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation.

Complete Description:

* As an SDE for Configuration Management, you will work closely with the other members of the Configuration Management team to build and maintain new points of sale worldwide. * You will interface with business owners, testers, and other members of the EWE team as you play a major role in creating new points of sale. * This work includes all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning to rollout to maintenance, to get our points of sale out the door and keep them running efficiently. * The Configuration Management team is the team that will be leading Client into new countries and to the Final Frontier. * Bring your creativity, break-it mentality, strong communication skills, technical abilities, and desire to learn quickly, and join us as we solidify our position as the leaders in on-line travel.
