Tech Writer
at Regent Systems Inc in Ohio
RSI is currently seeking candidates to fill a SIX-MONTH position at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) near Dayton, OH.
TECH WRITER
Utilize strategy and resources to create/edit/update, manage and archive technical documentation and AIS related diagrams (i.e., DoDAF), presentations, detail design specifications, installation, developer, and operations guides assist in the preparation of project proposals utilizing input from various DLA Transaction Services teams, government personnel and the DISA DECC organizations relating to IDE and its low and high side environments. DBS will validate modifications are accomplished and filed according to DoD and DLA policies governing documentation creation, management and archive.
Prepare, edit, update and maintain IDE program plans in accordance with established standards. DBS will negotiate and document technical documentation commitments as appropriate to validate timely execution of technical documentation, in accordance with established schedules and milestones.
Prepare, edit, update and provide presentations to the DLA Transaction Services PM as required.
Participate in regular meetings to review progress and disseminate information to team members. DBS will contribute and participate in DLA Transaction Services IDE In-Process Reviews (IPRs) as needed to provide status and document approvals.
Provide and submit through appropriate channels technical documentation products for review by the DLA Transaction Services IDE PM.
Successful candidate will have the following:
Ability to organize ideas in a useful fashion
Ability to write logical instructions
Ability to use graphics effectively to communicate ideas
Ability to revise ones own work to make a document or presentation clearer or more persuasive
Ability to edit and proofread
Ability to convey complex information in appropriate fashion to audiences with different levels of knowledge
