About Us:
Suri's Convenience Store, located at the bustling gas station in Springdale, Newfoundland and Labrador, is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and a wide range of products to our community. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Store Supervisor to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of service and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of store staff to ensure efficient store operations.
- Assist in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries and complaints.
- Train and mentor new employees, ensuring they understand store policies and procedures.
- Monitor stock levels, order merchandise, and ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized.
- Implement and maintain store policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare reports on sales, labor, and inventory as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by owner.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of retail experience.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in a retail environment is preferred.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Position Information:
- Full-time, permanent, 40 hours per week
- $18 per hour, overtime pay available at 1.5 times the regular rate
- 2 weeks vacation annually
