A Welder works with a variety of materials to fabricate new parts, equipment, construction elements, and much more. Skillful handling of many types of metal as well as numerous fabrication tools are an essential part of the opportunities you would find while working with us.

Privately owned company with lots of room for growth! This is a great opportunity for individuals to gain experience in the field!

Pay: $17.32- $22.06/hr.

-Pay increase by $1 after 30 days of good work attendance
-Pay increase by additional $1 after meeting set quota
-Monthly and Quarterly Attendance bonuses available- $1 for every hour worked up to 40 hours a week

Schedule/ Available Shifts: 6:00AM- 3:30PM (MONDAY- FRIDAY)

Welder Job Responsibilities:
-Fabricate new components in accordance with product data sheets and in compliance with all applicable standards of safety and performance.
-Repair metal components to restore full functionality and safety performance.
-Solve problems and develop innovative solutions to novel situations that require a fresh approach while still maintaining required standards of safety, stability, and security.
-Maintain tools and equipment to a professional standard. -----Keep the workstation clean and orderly to retain a safe and operational work environment.
-Execute particular welds in a professional manner- MIG, TIG, Stick, Arc Welding
-Manage workflow, meet deadlines, and troubleshoot problems on a daily basis, in addition to fabrication duties.

Job Skills and Qualifications:
-1-2 years of welding experience
-Familiarity with aluminum welding
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Must have attended/ completed welding school
-Ability to execute basic welding techniques.
-Ability to read and follow a product data sheet, specs sheet, and other product informational material.
-Familiarity with welding equipment and workshop safety protocols

( Job opening is located in Sibley, LA. Candidates must be willing to commute to job location.)
