Employment Type: Direct Hire

Salary Range: $81,000 to $110,000 Annually

Location: Onsite in New Orleans, LA
(30-40% overnight during the week, 1-2 nights, 2-3 days/week. Could be offshore 1-2 times/year for 2-3 days/week.

Job Description:
We are seeking a Facility/Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in the process and mechanical design of oil and gas production, transmission, and distribution facilities, which include both new installations and upgrades or retrofits to existing infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to gather information and survey infrastructure for facility improvements, modifications, or remediation.
- Collaborate with a diverse group of technical personnel including engineers, designers, vendors, and management.
- Design, develop, and review process documentation, regulatory submissions, and engineering studies.
- Lead front-end and detailed engineering design projects for both onshore and offshore facilities.
- Manage construction, commissioning, start-up, and operational support on-site.

Qualifications:
- BS degree or higher in Chemical, Petroleum, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Competency in the use of standard office software including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of industry-specific software is a plus (Pipe-Flo Advantage, Caesar II, ProMax/Hysis, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry standards.
- Ability to undertake multiple concurrent projects.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites including onshore and offshore locations.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Safety Training Requirements:
- Candidates must have the necessary training or be willing to obtain the required credentials such as TWIC, Safety Class, and HUET certifications.
