Job Summary:
As a IT Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales of our services to small and medium-sized businesses in your local region. Youll serve as a trusted advisor to business owners, guiding them on how technology can enhance their operations and revolutionize their customer interactions.
What youll do:
Prospect and sell our full suite of products and services to small and medium businesses.
Establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with Business owners, managers and/or IT decision makers through personal contact and outstanding customer service.
Provide weekly and monthly sales commitments that accurately reflect all opportunities.
Communicating with clients
Managing and building client relationships.
Managing a client's operational requirements and strategic vision:
o Understanding businesses, IT needs and goals.
o Matching and building the right and affordable IT solutions.
o Creating an IT infrastructure that helps the client achieve their goals.
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs set by the sales manager.
Maintain a deep understanding of our IT products and helpdesk services, staying updated on industry trends and competitive offerings.
Track and manage sales activities and opportunities using CRM software, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Work closely with the marketing and technical support teams to develop effective sales strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Maintaining comprehensive and current knowledge of IT best practices, both industry-wide and within Tech Dot Inc., and an ability to work with a wide variety of components, including but not limited to:
o Server and client operating systems
o Microsoft 365
o Backup, database, antivirus, email, and other common and essential software,
o Network protocols and devices,
o Security and IT systems monitoring,
o General computing hardware.
What youll bring:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
A strong skill set in cold calling, door knocking and prospecting for new business.
Minimum of 2 years of inside sales experience, preferably in the IT industry.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Ability to understand and address customer needs, providing solutions that add value.
Experience using CRM software for managing sales activities and pipeline.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to sales.
Must have your own vehicle and a valid driver's license.
