Expeditor
PeopleReady of Pomona, CAis now hiring Expeditors!Moves parts from one department to another in accordance with the "Traveler" instruction. Job orders are tracked and organized with the assigned parts. Collects all job orders on the production floor and verifies information for accuracy. As a Expeditor, you will do a variety of work in different industries.

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $19 - $20 / Hour
What you'll be doing as a Expeditor:

• Directly move parts to each department for completion ensuring the processing of the proper paperwork
• Daily rounds begin with delivering parts to Sheet Metal, CNC, Welding, Detailing, and Assembly
• Daily collect all job orders on the production floor and verify information for accuracy
• Continually check each department throughout the day for completion
• Upon completion in detailing, parts are moved to next areas including oven, sheeter, press, and Customer Service.
• Coordinate the travelers and report errors to the Production Supervisor
• Quality Discrepancy Report (QDR) is completed for parts that are to be returned to various departments

Available shifts:
Shift timings -1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:

• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• 3 yrs. experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must have excellent attention to detail and follow through on all work
• Perform work independently and as part of a team
• Background check and drug screening required
