Bookkeeper (JB4718)

R 12 – 14 000 CTC per month

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with solid bookkeeping experience and the ability to manage various accounting tasks efficiently to join our client within the education space

Minimum Requirements:
2 to 3 years of experience in bookkeeping up to trial balance
Proficiency in Pastel and/or Xero accounting software
Experience with bank reconciliation processing
Payroll processing experience
VAT reconciliation and submission expertise
Strong communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage full-function bookkeeping up to trial balance
Supervise and provide guidance to Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable staff
Capture and process supplier invoices
Generate both manual and automated invoices
Handle inter-company and subsidiary recharges or billing when required
Process daily cashbook transactions
Prepare and reconcile daily bank statements
Manage fixed assets, including depreciation calculations
Process and capture payroll accurately
Complete VAT reconciliations and manage VAT submissions
