Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $20 - $23 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
What you'll be doing as a Mobile Mechanic:

• Oversees the operation of all Stockpile Belt Loaders and all other rolling stock to ensure that the equipment is operating efficiently.
• Manages adequate inventory levels and catalogs all spare parts to ensure parts are onsite for timely repairs.
• Develops plans with the help of the Plant Supervisor and/or Night Lead for efficient use of rolling stock and equipment maintenance.
• Responsible for the safety of all employees.
• Responsible for the timeliness, quality and training of subordinate employees.
• Responsible for daily maintenance logs and information reporting.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of all shops.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
• Starts devices to test their performance.
• Assures proper maintenance of all rolling stock
• Fill out daily equipment check-off list.
• Assist in keeping the working area clean and organized.
• Know and understand IIPP, GMP, Lockout-Tagout, MSDS and Hazardous Materials manuals.
• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to the device to repair or replace defective parts.
• Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
• Lubricates and cleans parts.
• Starts devices to test their performance.
• Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
• Repairs electrical equipment.
• Fill out daily equipment check-off list.
• Assists in keeping the working area clean and organized.
