Key Responsibilities:
Guidance and Counseling:
Provide personalized advice to prospective MBA students about the college's programs, admission requirements, and application procedures.
Help students assess their qualifications and career goals to ensure the program is the right fit for them.
Application Process Management:
Assist students in completing application forms, preparing necessary documents (like SOPs, recommendation letters, and transcripts), and ensuring that all requirements are met for submission.
Answer questions related to deadlines, test scores (GMAT, GRE, etc.), eligibility criteria, and fees.
Marketing and Outreach:
Represent the MBA program at educational fairs, workshops, webinars, and other events to attract potential applicants.
Coordinate with marketing teams to promote the MBA program and its offerings through brochures, websites, social media, and other digital platforms.
Communication and Follow-Up:
Communicate with applicants regularly via email, phone calls, or in-person meetings to keep them updated on the status of their applications.
Provide additional support for students who may be on waitlists, helping them understand their standing and what they can do next.
Interview and Selection Process:
Coordinate the interview process for applicants, which may include scheduling interviews and providing feedback.
Support the admissions committee in evaluating applications, helping to select candidates based on academic and professional achievements, leadership potential, and alignment with the program's values.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
Work closely with the faculty, administration, and financial aid departments to ensure a smooth admissions process for both the candidates and the institution.
Help applicants with scholarship, loan, and financial aid options.
Post-Admission Support:
Provide guidance on orientation, housing, visa processes (for international students), and other pre-arrival preparations.
Help students understand the next steps in their transition to the MBA program, ensuring they are well-prepared.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively engage with prospective students.
Knowledge of MBA Programs: In-depth understanding of the MBA curriculum, specializations, and admission requirements.
