Job Description

Job Title: Floor Manager
Location: Le Raaj, A689/A177 roundabout, Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham, TS21 2JX
Responsibilities and Duties:
As the Floor Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant floor and customer sitting areas.
Your responsibilities include:
Setting Up: Ensure that the entire floor and customer sitting areas are set up in accordance with government health and safety measures and guidelines. This includes implementing protocols to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to regulations.
Supervision and Training: Supervise and train staff members to perform their duties effectively. Provide guidance and support to ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
Purchasing and Accounting: Purchase necessary supplies for the restaurant or direct the purchasing process. Additionally, arrange for the preparation of accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
Quality Assurance: Verify that the quality of food, beverages, and waiting service meets our standards and customer expectations. Conduct regular inspections to ensure dining areas are kept clean and tidy in compliance with statutory regulations.
Supply Management: Monitor the proper use and accountability of supplies to prevent wastage and loss. Implement strategies to optimise resource utilisation while staying within budget limits.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
Minimum English Language Skill: A minimum English language skill level of B1 is required to effectively communicate with staff and customers.
Relevant Experience: A skill level of RQF3 or above and/or relevant experience for the specific position is preferred. Experience in restaurant management or hospitality industry is highly desirable.
Remuneration:
We offer a competitive salary package of £39000.00 per year, along with the following benefits and entitlements: You will work 38 hours a week, 6 days a week including weekends.
28 days of paid holiday per year (pro rata).
