A local company in Greer, SC is in search for a Senior Tool Designer..

Responsibilities:
Provides Assembly tool and fixture design expertise and services both internally and externally to the Assembly Planning department. Designs new tools and fixtures in context of the vehicle parts and assemblies for which they are required. Supports existing Assembly tools and fixtures by providing accurate data for problem analysis and resolution for tools and fixture problems.

Qualifications:
* 6 years experience in tool design, including fabrication and/or manufacturing processes
* 2+ years project management experience
* Experience with the mechanics of materials and ergonomic and safety methods
* Knowledge of metrology concepts for ensuring geometric quality, precision
* Experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Knowledge of SAP, Prisma, and DZA applications
* BA/BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
