Job Description:
Client is looking for an experienced senior level/lead programmer analyst within Distribution Technology Development team. The candidate should have sharp technical skills, well spoken, be able to document technical designs and code base. As a Senior .Net Programmer Analyst you are expected to be an analytical type of a person and should have an ability to quickly grasp on business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Client expect candidate to be able to model relational databases, develop back end interfaces and be involved in the data optimization processes. The candidate should have strong background in design and development of distributed windows and web-based systems using Microsoft software development platform: .Net framework (1.1/2.0/3.0/4.0), C#, ASP.Net, Silver Light, SQL Server 2000/2005, XML, XSLT, Java Script and DHTML. Strong experience in developing back end system/interfaces is required. Experienced in OOP and modular component based development. Familiarity with design patterns is a big plus. The candidate will participate in technical design, architecture, technology research and upgrades. The successful candidate will join a team of senior developers with primary responsibility for technical design and development efforts in a highly dynamic and demanding environment. Client expect that candidate have at least 2-3 years experience in leading, hands-on design and development efforts of critical system components and projects within small team of developers (2-3). The candidate should be able to analyze functional and technical requirements, estimate impact, design and architect solutions, prepare development project plans, assign tasks to developers and fully participate in the development process as well. The candidate would be also responsible for codes reviews and integration.
Required Skills:
1. Minimum 7 of years experience in distributed and web-based systems.
2. Minimum 5 years of comprehensive development experience using .Net framework (1.1/2.0/3.0/4.0).
3. Expert understanding of Object Oriented analysis and design.
4. Expert understanding of application design and development for the Microsoft platform: C#, ASP.Net, SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, Silver Light, XML, XSLT, Java Script and DHTML.
5. Strong relational database design and development skills, SQL/TSQL, stored procedures, back end interfaces.
6. Experience in data warehousing, data manipulation and OLAP reporting.
7. Experience in understanding SDLC Project Management model and adhere to company’s processes and procedures. Experience in the Financial or Banking industry, engineering and deployment experience in IIS environment, Solid MS Visio/Project skills. Design Pattern and Rational Unified Process exposure is a plus.
8. Bachelor’s degree in technical and/or process focused discipline (Mgmt Info Systems or Computer Science)
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
