Job Title: Data Architect
Position Type: Contract
Location: Whiteplains, NY
Duration: 6+Months

DUTIES:
The Data Architect responsibilities will include:
a) Gathering business requirements and communicating with project team members
b) Develop dimensional models using THE CLIENT's standard best practices
c) Participate in model reviews
d) Develop source to Client mappings and work closely with ETL developers
e) Work closely with Microstrategy team
f) Present ideas, expectations and information in a concise, well-organized way
g) Correctly prioritize tasks
h) The Data Architect must also be familiar with Oracle PL/Sql programming language. He/she should have significant experience working in an Informatica/Microstrategy environment. Strong SQL skills are a must for this position. Additionally, the Data Architect must have a passion for understanding the underlying business problem as well as its technical delivery. He or she will be responsible for the rapid assimilation of business requirements around THE CLIENT'S technology initiatives and must be able to effectively translate these requirements to an effective technical design.
