🚚 About us:

Exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team based in Lafayette, Indiana, supporting the innovative Powerline automatic transmission for medium-duty commercial vehicles. Join a growing team of 12 engineers and 2 technicians, collaborating closely with design colleagues in Germany and our production facility in Gray Court, SC.

🔧 What You'll Do:

As a Field Test Engineer, you'll lead the build and operation of demo/engineering/field test vehicles with advanced powertrains. Responsibilities include interfacing with end-customers, OEMs, and coordinating engineering lab activities for tear-down, evaluation, assembly, and function-testing of powertrain products.

💼 Your Profile:

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in powertrain engineering
Customer and supplier interface experience preferred
Ability to manage multiple engineering projects, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities
Knowledge of measurement techniques, hydraulics, vehicle testing, and data acquisition systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%)
