Imani Community Church is a small non-profit , predominantly African American organization in Oakland, CA. We are supportive, inclusive, and engaging. Our goal is to develop a community of faith equipped and empowered to transform and liberate through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

This position will also oversee the daily operations of the church office. The ideal candidate must have a High School Diploma or higher education and five plus years of experience in responsible administrative capacity.
1. Administrative support for the Pastor and two ministerial staff
2. Prepare and produce weekly newsletter and quarterly reports
3. Manage the church office and records
4. Assist the church Treasurer with financial operations such as tracking member contributions and issuing annual giving statements.
5. Other administrative duties as assigned by the Pastor and/or Chair of the Board of Directors.

Key Competencies and Qualifications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality;
- Demonstrated high level proficiency in MS Office Suite of
Products;
- Excellent organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to work independently.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 25 per week
Benefits: Paid time off
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday
Work Location: In person (not a remote position)
