Chemist needs 2+ years’ experience
Chemist requires:
 Good technical skills with training in wet chemistry laboratory safety is a must.
 Comfort and knowledge of working with chemicals, especially hazardous chemicals.
 Ability to perform heavy lifting (5 lb. up to 40 lb.).
 Organized with good time management skills.
 Good communications and observation skills
 Good focus and attention to detail.
 Ability to travel and work with outside agencies (Somerset Raritan Valley Sewerage Authority).
 Ability to perform repetitive work on a weekly basis.
 Appreciation of good housekeeping and ability to clean glassware thoroughly and repetitively.
 Willing to conduct tedious/repetitive work
 BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biological Engineering, Microbiology, Packaging, Materials Science or Polymer Science would be preferred
Chemist duties:
• Responsible for collecting and recording, interpreting and documenting data in a manner consistent with Good Documentation Practices
• Able to be aware and comply of all relevant standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Manages and prioritizes assigned projects with little or no direction.
