ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN-Application deadline: Until filled-Public Works/Engineering-Duties: Prepares routine designs, plans, specifications & bid documents for approval; makes preliminary estimates of work & material required; prepares cost computations; inspects for the installation of public works projects for compliance with approved plans & specifications. Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.; two (2) years course work in engineering technology or related field; must obtain KDOT construction inspection verification. Experience: Two (2) years’ work, education or training in civil engineering field work &/or drafting. Requirements: Must possess a valid Kansas driver’s license at hire; possession of a valid Kansas Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL) with air brake & tanker endorsements or obtain within one (1) year from the start date of employment. Starting pay: $18.80-21.77/hr.

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. Experience: Four (4) years’ clerical work or experience in arts, event planning, education, or related fields. Requirements: Kansas driver’s license. Starting pay: $17.90-18.80/hr.

RECREATION ASSISTANT III (PART-TIME)- Application deadline: Until filled-Parks & Recreation-Duties: Assists in the planning, organizing, coordinating, & supervising year-round activities for youth & adults, including instructional programs, special events, therapeutic recreation, senior programs, trips, & leisure programs.
