Chemistry Lab Tech needs 3+ years production development experience
Chemistry Lab Tech requires:
Wet chemistry
Comfort and knowledge of working with chemicals, especially hazardous chemicals.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (5 lb. up to 40 lb.).
Lab safety
Ability to travel and work with outside agencies (Somerset Raritan Valley Sewerage Authority).
Degree requirement, BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biological Engineering, Microbiology, Packaging, Materials Science or Polymer Science would be prefer
Open to candidates with high school/community college background as long as this person is dedicated and has a can-do attitude.
Appreciation of good housekeeping and ability to clean glassware thoroughly and repetitively.
Chemistry Lab Tech duties:
Work independently and/or cross-functionally to initiate and execute lab works on evaluation of recyclability, repulpability, and biodegradation of various materials.
Responsible for collecting and recording, interpreting and documenting data in a manner consistent with Good Documentation Practices
