Req. Title: Physician - Psychiatrist
Location: Remote
Duration: 3+ years contract position

• Physician with board certification of psychiatrist and unrestricted license to practice as MD or DO in the US.
• Must be physically located within the US. Will review prior authorization requests for medical services to determine medical necessity. All reviews and decisions are performed via electronic review.
• Will be required to be available for peer-to-peer reviews that may be requested based on a negative action.
• May be required to participate in a Fair Hearing should a negative action n be appealed to explain the medical review process and decision-making. Supported by a Medical Director and a team of physicians doing similar work.
• Part-time position. Estimated 20-25 hours per week with increases when covering for leave of other physicians.
