Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering and related trades, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. As a Plasterer, youll be responsible for applying smooth and decorative finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using a variety of plastering techniques.
Responsibilities
Preparing walls and ceilings for plastering
Mixing plaster to correct consistency
Applying base coats and finishing coats (skim coat)
Patching, repairing, and re-skimming damaged surfaces
Using hand tools (trowels, floats, etc.) with precision
Ensuring a smooth, high-quality finish
Working closely with other trades to ensure job progress
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of plastering experience (preferred)
Skilled in both traditional and modern plastering techniques
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plastering or equivalent (preferred)
Valid CSCS Card (required)
Good communication and time management skills
Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
