We will be holding interviews in Bali, Indonesia between Monday 27th & Thursday 30th January.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef / Head Baker ready to take their career to the next level.

The Good Cartel Pty Ltd, a well-established and -growing restaurant in Broome, Western Australia, is expanding to include a bakery department. We are looking to sponsor a highly skilled Head Baker or Pastry Chef to lead this exciting new venture.

Pathways to Permanent Residency (PR) for eligible candidates.
An opportunity to build and lead the bakery department from scratch.
A competitive salary starting at AUD $63,000 per annum (negotiable up based on experience and qualifications).

About the Role:

As the Head Baker / Executive Pastry Chef, you will:
Develop and launch the bakery department, starting as a small team.
Craft artisanal breads, pastries, and other baked goods with precision and creativity.
Train and build a bakery team to operate a 7-day-per-week.
Ensure high-quality standards and innovation in all bakery products.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Head Baker, Pastry Chef, or similar role.
Expertise in European baking techniques, recipes, and food safety.
A passion for innovation and excellence in baked goods.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Willingness to relocate to Broome, Western Australia.

DAMA Visa Benefits:
Age concession: Applicants up to 55 years old are eligible.
Pathway to PR: Direct pathway through the Kimberley DAMA agreement.
English language concession (IELTS score of 5.0 overall).
