Federated Hermes, Inc., a global leader in active, responsible investing, is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our Project and Resource management department based in our Warrendale, Pennsylvania office.

What You’ll Do
As part of Federated Hermes’ Global Technology Organization, you will be responsible for
• Providing business analysis support (including application and system) for the Federated Hermes’ business and technology departments.
• Providing training on project management processes , tools and techniques.
• Determining and documenting project management office objectives. Translating business objectives into documented business and functional requirements.
• Performing analysis, preparing functional specifications, and conducting functional testing for approved projects. Coordinating, reviewing, and validating this work when prepared by project team members.
• Working with technical and development staff to conduct unit, system, and user acceptance testing. This includes developing and publishing test specifications, preparing test data, and creating user acceptance documentation.
• Facilitating communication between Project Management Office, Federated Hermes’ business and technology areas regarding project management and business initiatives.

This position offers a hybrid schedule (in-office/remote) and is located in Federated Hermes’ Warrendale, Pennsylvania office (15086).

The Expertise We are Looking For
• This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or in a comparable technical/engineering field, OR in lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and professional and/or military experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years programming experience which includes SQL required; programming experience with SQL and Salesforce preferred; 5 years of programming experience with SQL and Salesforce preferred
• Experience with programing languages (.NET, REACT, C#, Java, JavaScript, SQR) preferred
• Experience with Windows/Windows Servers preferred
• Experience with Agile software development processes and source control systems such as Azure DevOps and/or GIT preferred
